In September 2020, the employees of our school took the time and took part in the disc golf championship, which took place as part of the XIII School Olympic Games at the stadium.

Training for teachers "Speech and Voice"

 

In November 2020, a group of teachers from the Jõhvi Russian Basic School underwent a training organized by Tallinn University on the topic “Speech and Voice”.

During the classes, the teachers learned about how the speech apparatus is arranged and what factors affect it negatively. In addition, under the guidance of teacher Toomas Lõhmuste, the participants performed practical exercises to help relieve unnecessary stress from the vocal cords and "prepare" them for work. In the second part of the training, the teachers got acquainted with exercises to develop articulation and improve diction. The classes ended with a public presentation of each participant with a short excerpt from the text.

Thanks to the talent of the teacher and actor Toomas Lõhmuste, the training took place in a very friendly atmosphere accompanied by light humor. Each teacher received personalized feedback and advice on how to retain the voice and use it effectively.

Following all of the above, our teachers decided to learn new things, not forgetting about physical activity... 

And within the framework of the "Entrepreneurial Teacher" project, they invited the instructor and head of the sports club "La LUNA" Ilona Makharamova, who conducted a ZUMBA-style training for school staff on October 21, 2020.

Presentation of the project "Enterprising Teacher" began with reports of its funding from AS Archimedes ERASMUS +.

On August 30, the first significant event within the framework of the project was held - “Workshops. Idea search methods. Brainstorming ”, which was attended by about 40 teachers. The main topic of the meeting was “Effective use of the project method in organizing activities and socializing the subject in the learning process. An inclusive education system at school ”.
