"Fun Chemistry Experiments in an Adventurous School"

Chemistry is an interesting science in itself, which is directly related to the conduct of experiments. And who, if not us, inquisitive students, "plunge" into the world of transformations and chemical mysteries?

Pupils of grade 8C, under the guidance of teachers Nadezhda Pavlyut and Inna Gorbunova, decided to learn how to experiment and teach others themselves. After all, funny and interesting experiments will help to organize and decorate a holiday not only for children, but also for adults. With their creative work, the students wanted to attract the attention of peers interested in natural sciences to research activities and show the possibility of conducting interesting experiments even at home.

Seminar: Project training day on the topic "Pushkin's connection with Estonia"

On April 28, 2021, the Estonian language teacher Inna Gorbunova applied the knowledge gained in the project "Enterprising Teacher" and shared it with her colleagues.

Inna introduced the teachers to the idea of using the Quizziz program on the example of her integrated lesson "Pushkin's connection with Estonia."

Teachers were able to participate in an online "live lesson", get acquainted with the presentation and quiz, tried to answer different types of questions, and saw how the teacher can get feedback and analyze the results of the survey.

Some teachers at our school have previously used Quizziz in their lessons and noted that it is an interesting tool for improving the teacher's work and this is especially true for distance learning.

Dreams Come True...

Let's be honest that we, the participants of the project "Enterprising Teacher" (Galina Safronova, Svetlana Gostishcheva, Tatiana Laada, Khiye Taklai, Inna Gorbunova, Inna Rubtsova), have been dreaming for a long of time of visiting this amazing city, the historical center of Italy with its majestic churches and cathedrals, superb theaters and museums ...

We were very happy that we had a great opportunity to learn from the experience of our Italian colleagues, which will undoubtedly help us make the learning process more interesting and exciting.

We were also pleasantly surprised that the project provided us English language training courses, where we got the opportunity to activate our knowledge of English including the spoken language, since the working language of our studies was going to be English.

There are no words to express how upset we were to get to know that due to the pandemic our trip was postponed from 04.10.2020 to 04.04.2021. There was no certainty that our dream would come true in such a difficult time. But as you know hope is the last to die.

And finally that day came 04/04/2021 ... Leaving behind our worries, anxiety, filling in the travel declarations, testing for coronavirus, waiting for the results, we said goodbye to Maxim Stepanenko, who brought all of us to the airport and wished us good luck. Many thanks to him!

And here we are - on the plane flying to fabulous Florence! Dreams Come True!!!

Digital opportunities for exploring nature. Digital trash.

Today, when global informatization and computerization are firmly rooted in the field of education, no school can do without modern technology. Various gadgets are designed to facilitate the teacher's work, help students receive, process and transmit information, create conditions for their search and research activities, and provide a system-activity approach.

In order for a student to correspond to the image of a modern student, it is necessary to introduce into the educational environment technical means that are interesting to the child, which will help him gain scientific knowledge through observations, measurements, experiments, experiments and research.

On February 22, 2021, within the framework of the "Entrepreneurial Teacher" project, our school hosted a lecture for teachers "Digital opportunities for studying nature. Digital waste", which was prepared and conducted for us by Veronika Plotnikova, a communication and environmental education specialist at the Department of Environmental Protection.

Lifelong learning

Our teachers met the first working week of the new 2021 with persistent mental work: on January 4, 5 and 6, we "absorbed" new useful information in our work.

On January 4 and 6, the teachers worked under the guidance of Mati Talvik (Merlecons) link1link2 trying to understand such issues as:

- Conducting distance learning so that the teacher does not have professional burnout and the prevention of parental complaints.

- How to deal with a “problematic” parent who is not aware of the problems of his child.
