Lifelong learning

Our teachers met the first working week of the new 2021 with persistent mental work: on January 4, 5 and 6, we "absorbed" new useful information in our work.

On January 4 and 6, the teachers worked under the guidance of Mati Talvik (Merlecons) link1link2 trying to understand such issues as:

- Conducting distance learning so that the teacher does not have professional burnout and the prevention of parental complaints.

- How to deal with a “problematic” parent who is not aware of the problems of his child.

Interesting stories and opinions of the lecturer caused strong emotions and did not leave our teachers indifferent. They asked many questions, discussed, argued.

We hope that the knowledge gained will help us in our daily work, make us think and reconsider our worldview.

On January 5, we got acquainted with the possibilities of e-Twinning. Haridus- ja Noorteamet Koolituskeskus - HARNO link.

eTwinning offers a platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part of the most exciting learning community in Europe. eTwinning is co-funded by the Erasmus+, the European programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.

Ene Kruzman, teacher and director of Kohtla-Järve kindergarten Tareke link, told us about educational projects, project learning goals and opportunities in the e-Twinning system. Ene's personal example became the best motivator for the future developmental activities of teachers and students. She talked about the opportunities for kindergarten her work with eTwinning gave. Immediately during the lesson, the first ideas for work on similar projects and a proposal for cooperation were born.

This year, our school has launched 2 international projects under the Erasmus + program. One of the projects is the "Entrepreneurial Teacher" link designed to develop the competencies of teachers. Therefore, this training was especially useful for us, in which about 40 teachers took part.

Many thanks to our teaching teachers for interesting lessons and knowledge necessary for work.
